MODERN Lakehouse

Overlooking the wooded shores of Deep Creek Lake, this waterfront home pairs relaxed lakeside ease with clean, Scandinavian-influenced transitional style.

Kimmel Interiors articulated the double-height great room around cathedral ceilings clad in light wood and an open loft overlook, flooding the shared living spaces with natural daylight.

A grounded palette of warm neutrals, honey-toned woods, and textured earthen upholstery echoes the surrounding forest canopy.

Minimalist fixtures, pale wood dining surfaces, and deep-seated lounge chairs create an unhurried, comfortable setting shaped for family hospitality and scenic water views.
